There is no way that M.C. will win their appeal. If they do as @Nick-L says above the Premier League will discredited in such a way that it will no longer exist. The other 19 teams will withdraw and form something […]

The sound was excellent, crystal clear but it was just him with his acoustic, electric and piano. Not all st the same time before anyone starts… My thoughts echo @nick-l

Actually I think I was wrong, it was 1983 when I saw them there. I did see the spinning songbook in Liverpool 86. That was a near 3hr gig, if I remember correctly. @Nick-L

You am I @nick-l The Colour of Spring their meisterwerk.

My sources tell me @nick-l that there are moves to reunite Hooky with New Order for some gigs this year.

@Nick-L thanks 🙏

Re. cruise, who did you go with @nick-l? Mrs. T’s mates organised a trip this summer on a monstrous 5000 passenger boat in school holidays which sounded like hell on earth to me and I refused to go. I rather like […]

Like you @Nick-L we were hooked on the first season of Mr Mercedes but the second season was a bit of a slog and a bit disjointed too.

@nick-l Bang on. Ten Storey Love song could have fitted on the debut I reck.

@nick-l Mr Elms is a great writer and broadcaster…..but he does think the world revolves around him, like a Zelig in Bowie Trousers. I remember him “discovering” Jazz in the 80s before anyone else (eye roll)

@nick-l Jury is out for the new Cams album for me and my mates. A few classic moments but a bit one paced too. Maybe the annual Manchester Christmas gig will be a revelation

@Nick-L Probably weren’t wild about being bottled off stage, hence the name change

@nick-l is right to wrangle; Smiths were always the good boys choice, probably bought by their mother. Golden Wonder were the rowdy upstarts. A bit Beatles and Stones, really. I have never quite understood how […]

What a superb post – @Nick-L ! I am genuinely delighted when people discover them properly. I agree with most of the advice given, but given the two very fine songs you mention, I would plump for adjacency in […]

Congrats @nick-l Long live side-hustling!!!

@nick-l Let us know how you get on with your Church experiences. I have perfectly sane friends with very very similar musical tastes who are not interested at all.

Thanks @Nick-L. I knew nothing about them, other than the name, so the research was very enjoyable.

@fentonsteve @nick-l You are both right. Columbia and Acquiesce are about all you need. I’m right you know…

Ah, and I was disappointed we didn’t hold on for a point! Good luck @nick-l
