Agree entirely. A great, great record. I’ve also got a lot of love for that Ben Folds Five record. Soundtracked my summer that year. The other one I came to later was Liquid Skin by Gomez. Better than the debut

My all time most seen group. Love them but I really feel they lost a lot when Gerry left. Live especially. Paul Quinn was a major loss too. I realise not everyone feels like this. They are still bloody treasures.

Blue Nile KlaxonI heard a great Blue Nile documentary today. As much a love letter to Glasgow as to the Tinseltown in the Rain hitmakers themselves. I do miss the old place sometimes. Well worth a listen

We have a rescue Australian Kelpie. Frank is the most affectionate hound we have ever owned. No idea what his back story was but I’m glad we got him.
