I’m not particularly familiar with Pere Ubu, but David Thomas made some fine contributions to some of Jackie Leven’s albums. Their version of ‘You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling’ is just sublime!

One of my all time favourite concerts was seeing her perform in front of Saisbury Cathedral as the sun went down. Unforgettable. Probably about 20 years ago now.

That last suggestion is a good example of why punctuation matters. Should it be ‘Please don’t go, topless mother’ or ‘Please don’t go topless, mother’?
