I always smile at the ending to Dylan’s Man Gave Names To All The Animals as it purposely doesn’t end properly in that he doesn’t bother with the expected final line “Think I’ll call it a snake”. Floyd’s […]

Yep, extra holes for a tie, I say. With an intermission.

“The navigation involved to get the stones and to know where they actually were when they chose them blows my mind.” If I’d been involved I think I’d have gone for something more like Shrubberyhenge.

This just came up on my computer’s internet and made me smile. It’s not really Wordle related as such, but I thought I’d post it here as it does have words in it and also because the Wordle threads are so […]

I reckon you slept well because you have a clear conscience, having never tortured a domestic animal nor killed anyone because of their shoe size.

Bloody hell, Fitz, what a terrible thing to happen just as he got clear of cancer. A very cruel twist of fate. Sorry for your loss.

Ah right, I’m with you. After 3 and 1, 6 and 1 is my other favourite start. I’ve no idea why they don’t have backgammon in the olympics.

3 and 1 is a good low first throw to get though.

I’m a big fan of backgammon, play a ‘best of three’ every day after lunch before snooze. I find it very relaxing and “zen”.

That would actually be my number one choice for a totally euphoric tune. And don’t it feel GOOD! Indeed it does.

Both good choices. Just watched that clip. What a band. Nicks is stunningly beautiful and a stunningly talented singer/frontperson. Can’t help thinking John McVie was a lucky fella. I’ve never picked up a bass, […]

I’ve given up trying to hear suggestions, cos it requires too much mental application, but of those I know, Baker Street would be get my first vote. Totally smiley-face euphoric. I was watching today a thing […]

Unless I can’t hear the singing, from 4.08 is instrumental. “Instrumental euphoria” it’s probably known as. I think my first port of call for instrumental euphoria would be Waterfall by the Stone Roses. That bit […]

“Rude”? I thought you were being surprisingly observant, given your age.

I’ve put my headphones away and am off for a swim, but I’m going to listen to all these suggestions later. At least I’m going to try to. I tried listening to Seanioio’s Mercury Rev one and my ears can’t pick up […]
