As someone who doesn’t particularly like live ackbums – Koln is by a country mile the best

The Case Laing Veirs album just keeps on giving as the years go by. Every time I put it on it lights up the room.

It’s a no from me I’m afraid. Loved Motherland but this just doesn’t work (for me) and yet it has a great cast. Quite charming I guess but after 3 episodes I’m still waiting for the first laugh.

So young – what a waste of a formidable talent. I still recall the sheer unexpected joy of watching Once for the first time.

I agree – he made some rather lovely orchestral music.
