I admire their optimism but the line up wouldn’t tempt either of my two, 20 and 17 years old. Hopefully, they’ll add a few more acts but IMHO, these festivals haven’t had must see line ups for a while now.

Poor Dumpy. Last seen working as “local crew” in Birmingham for Tad Bayliss, a veteran of the Brum music scene. Not a well man by all accounts.

I also tried the Tidal Challenge on Play 5s and my video ears couldn’t detect any benefit but neither could my son so maybe it’s the equipment.

I doubt any tax increase will be going to the NHS, more like paying off the furlough bill and refilling the coffers after the drop in tax revenue.
Also, I’m pretty sure I heard that while the numbers of trucks […] -

I know! I had 27 bundles of mail on Friday although I think the round hadn’t been done for a couple of days. I had to redistribute the load to stop the trolley from tipping backwards and I’m sure it was well over […]

I almost never leave or listen to voicemail. I’d rather send or receive a brief text. Voicemail is invariably rambling and I have to write the important bits down anyway. I usually respond quickly to texts and […]

Current advice is to wear a mask outdoors if it’s difficult to social distance.
From a Huff Post article but I head the same on a Radio 4 programme

A mate who runs a venue says they can do socially distanced gigs from May but no festivals, tours or large live events until 2022. My daughter has ticket for My Chemical Romance outdoors in July but no word of if […]

This was a side to side movement. Do you mean a sort of jumping over occasional frames due to the sprocket holes being misaligned? I had that on a Transvision Vamp video shoot where the edits had been done without […]

I worked on a TV film at Shepperton in 1999. I had a big heavy projector and a Betacam player, projecting footage of traffic on the North Circular Road onto a window. After a couple of takes, they asked if I could […]
