That’s rather buggered up Costello’s Summer plans too as he was support plus doing his own gigs. Economies of scale just evaporated I guess, this despite my buying tickets for both his London gigs this week.

I just remember that during a press walkabout when he was flown in as New Labour candidate for Hartlepool they visited a takeaway where he famously mistook mushy peas for guacamole.
