Given your tendency to lean into the positive, @artery I suspect you’ll like Ted Lasso, on Apple TV. Well worth a free month’s subs and cancellation.

Pretty sure Wimborne is in Dorset – it’s where Robert Fripp comes from/lives.

@Artery I have only met him once at one of his shows at the Mac in Birmingham. In the interval I chatted to him and asked if he would play the song ‘wrapped up in blue’ in the second set. Mid way through the set […]

@artery it is a bit pompous in places but I still do like it. They can be a bit wet (or shite as @retropath2 succinctly describes them.)

Oh I dunno @artery. I think Sinatra and Nelson have done some great albums, albeit Nelson’s were mainly later, when he dropped the Y from his name. I mentioned It’s Up To You earlier, but Ricky and Ricky Sings […]

@Artery I’ve never read the book so had no idea it might influence my opinion of THG. It was the first album that got me back into Van since ’82’s Beautiful Vision. I saw him (and that wonderful band) in Brighton […]

Agree with you Baron and I hope that Too long in exile and Hymns to the Silence get the extended treatment.
Don’t agree with @Artery that everything post Back on Top is autopilot – Magic Time I think is an excellent album. -

I have the CD & LP on order because I too am a mug, a happy mug when the Post Man brings these. THG is one of my […]

@Artery thanks for your kind words. The SB&Q track was Dream Kid – we loved the whole album, and I could have added half a dozen tracks.
I will post the track-lists later today.
