Again some good advice here , thanks. I like the ebay completed items idea @Alias

Excellent suggestion @Alias. To my shame I’ve never seen the complete film. But I do know the extraordinary story of how Miles improvised the soundtrack while watching the movie… With his French quintet of […]

Sounds very promising @Alias. This guy has posted a playlist on Spotify

Thanks @alias. Excellent article. Of course it should be in the Guardian not simply on Patreon. I’m currently reading Broken Greek, Pathides’s autobiography and I warmly recommend it. It was a gift from @ duc […]

@alias You’re pretty much correct. We just need to hold our nerve and hopefully not too much tinkering of our line up though the changes KM made for Saturday worked. Conor Chaplin can’t play tonight btw, in cas […]

Good point @alias re Lydon’s vocals. I love NMTB , it is mostly a very good rock album with Jonesy’s chunky guitar.

A new name for me @Alias. It’s only reasonable to post a clip or two

Thanks for introducing us to this remarkable chap @Alias. A man with a finger in all manner of interesting pies. The merengue Ghost Riders was a revelation.

Oi @alias You can’t leave it at that!

@alias…git!

Yeah I remember both of those gigs @alias My mum and dad wouldn’t let me go…

You’re reading some really interesting books @Alias. Your mention of Vivien Goldman’s Indiscreet ( the fictionalised biography of the band which I’d never heard of) led me to this Guardian interview with […]

Thanks @Alias. I googled your quote and it led me this enthusiastic review by Phil Shanklin who had also read that Rough Guide review. He quotes the Rough Guide: “August Darnell and Stony Browder Jnr construct […]
