Really sorry to see it go. Episodes have been slowing down over the last couple of years anyway but the podcast and the Parsnips version have provided me with many laugh out loud moments. Bob Mortimer is […]

Absolutely – most artists would sell their souls for that hit rate, even from such a short period of time. How many people actually manage sustaining hits for longer is an interesting question.

Never a real favourite of mine but not much much denying that the first two albums are genuinely good. Truth is it ended there. 20 out of those 23 tracks in the setlist are either from the first two or […]

So glad this ended up positively for you, Sniffity. This and the news this week that a guy I did some work with passed away just a few months after retiring has really made me think twice about deciding to work […]

Another fork in right hand guy here. Being in my 60s, however means that I was “taught” how to eat properly and do so in “company” that isn’t family. Old habits die hard.

Ordered the Blu-ray. The early run of albums is great but I think this one will probably benefit most from an Atmos make over

Now streaming but not the Atmos. I did see, however, that the Ken Scott Atmos mix of Ziggy Stardust has just appeared on Tidal. Only listened to Five Years so far but it sounds really good.

Probs available to stream (and maybe even the Atmos) from 31st

Looking forward to this one – I know very few of these tracks and your mixes have led me to a lot of good stuff in the past

Tea hits screen 😂😂

He posted recently. Also did a Q&A where one of the things he addressed was the workload and any queries over his health. The more recent ones have been in the Bonus episodes feed but one on Tim Buckley was 19th […]

Things my day is not quite right without: listening to some music reading – fiction only one decent cup of coffee – either from our own machine or a decent coffee shop catching up on the Afterword – no, […]

Further PSA – if you can bring yourself to do it, they are considerably cheaper on pre-order from the tax dodgers. I’ve left my SDE order for CTTE but I’m very tempted for the other two!

I’ve ordered CTTE to get the Atmos mix. I love the other albums but I can live without those in Atmos. I do hope, however that the Atmos mix is an improvement on Blu-ray over the one that is available on […]

Just bought the Astley on Bandcamp – Garden is one of my all time faves. Exciting – no, but I’ve enjoyed the new Squeeze, Kacey, Lemon Twigs, Gorillaz and Four Tet
