One of my top 3 go-back-to albums of all time. I would buy the Atmos version in a heartbeat but it doesn’t seem to be available except in the full set. I’ve got the last Steven Wilson remix and the rest of the […]

Dubstar (did I miss that in the vids?) – several of theirs would qualify including one of my all fave things “Stars” (but the Way Out West remix, I should add). Not in this category but their last album from a […]

Just because I’m really lazy, could you add links to the mixes. I’ve really enjoyed these before

Is this perhaps a double edged sword then? IF an artist is content with what they CAN make, financially, then the current times allow that. Previously the “system” meant that was far more difficult? Lots of […]

Roon is a fantastic interface (and bypasses some of the current Sonos app issues) but I can’t really justify it’s cost after my current “3 months for the price of 1” runs out in Feb. It would sort the phone s […]

“she claims I must be going deaf because I have it so loud, I claim it’s normal volume and she has abnormally sensitive hearing” – a conversation oft repeated in my house too. Competing sounds also an issue – a […]

Go for a test – should be able to get one through your GP. After months of prodding from the GLW, and claims that I was “going deaf” I went to get a hearing test. Turns out I’m not remotely deaf but have the […]

All of your picks have been interesting at worst, even if I’ve not entirely connected with some of them. The writing, however has been universally fantastic and, as you approach the top 3, just a Seasonal thank […]

If I ever had any thoughts about visiting that part of the would, they have just been extinguished. I struggle with the odd May Bug here, never mind those monstrosities (lovely though I’m sure they are)

Just noticed that Apple has the SDE tracks available to pre-order for the release at the end of March for just £24. Obvs you’ll only get the remixed/remastered versions but that’s quite a saving. I wouldn’t […]

As usual, getting to 20 has proved impossible. There are plenty of albums I’ve listened to and liked but not enough to include as “best of” the year. The ones I HAVE loved are: 1. Floating Points – C […]

Doesn’t that replace your versions with ones they hold wherever they have them? I realise that in many cases that may not matter but the file quality may not be the same?

I might need to look again at this but I can’t remember exactly why this wouldn’t work last time, but the whole thing was a disaster. It’ll come back to me.
