My dearest companion, Mrs W, does Wordle each day. No safe starters for her, whatever 5 letter word appears around 7.30a.m. Her results are almost invariably better than mine.
Today she struggled and ended up with a sixer. I showed her my five and then commented “Lots of my “chums” scored 3 or 4 today.”
She looked at me askance. “Mmm… are you completely sure that your “chums” are trustworthy chaps?”
“I’ll go and make you a nice cuppa” I replied.
I didn’t get past the bit where you referred to us as ‘chums’. Thats quite moving.
