Well…this was timely, thanks! I will be posting a review of the upcoming Feel Flows set here in a couple of weeks, which I have just started drafting out, so this confirms some things I am writing which were suppositions.

The ‘Feel Flows’ will be the box set of the year and there have been some good ‘uns up to now and more on the way.
The Sunflower to Surf’s Up was probably the most fertile musical period in the existence of The Beach Boys both in the studio and live. Denis Wilson especially was a revelation and excelled with his songwriting.
Some of these songs, not just DW’s, send shivers down my spine and bring tears of joy to me.

Actually, I’m with our man from Wigan on this. Brian had the classic pop nous, but the added textures provided by the others having to step up to the mark were exemplary, especially Chaplin and Fataar.
