I thought that the whole thing was destroyed back in the late 1960s, due to Equity’s then policy on repeat fees, as attested in the 2007 BBC 4 documentary, and the one that followed on Radio 2.
Has just this performance survived, or has the rest of the play also come to light? Could it be that the performance was saved somewhere.

What I meant was something like “Was the performance cut out and kept for broadcast elsewhere, perhaps by an overseas broadcaster? Or has someone managed to acquire the whole play?”
Well. bugger me sideways. I haven’t seen it since I watched it with my Dad in 1963. The play as I remember it was pretty weird and I think I asked Dad “Who’s the guy with the guitar and what’s that thing he is blowing into and what’s this got to do with anything?”
Dad probably opened a can of McEwans ….
The film was destroyed although a few audio bits remain.
