Musings on the byways of popular culture
Been looking at that after hearing them on 6music. The tracks I heard were very good. Unfortunately I just put a couple of orders into the tax dodgers that didn’t include this – will rectify in a couple of days or so.
The Bill Ryder Jones album is also excellent.

Where Liverpool is concerned @stevet the enmity is reserved solely for the football and the team that play in red, in fact spent the day there yesterday with friends on a pub only day out.
The music is something else and the Scousers are brill at reproducing that Byrdsian Jingle Jangle noise. The Coral have been a favourite of mine since `The Oldest Path` EP way back. I have the new album on order but had heard nothing from it until I played the latest Uncut CD today with `Chasing The Tail Of A Dream` on it. I normally play these music mag CDs as background music but when I heard that track it went on repeat for another half dozen plays. If the rest of the album is half as good…
