Some very good news for those partial to a bit of Lilac Time – they’re adding their mid-period albums onto streaming services. In the last couple of weeks we’ve had Looking for a Day in the Night, Lilac 6, Keep Going and now Runout Groove. Stephen Duffy, you’re spoiling us.

Just spotted no comments! Shame on us; Duffy is a blooming star in the firmament, or should be. I’ve just been listening to Dance Till All the Stars Come Down, this years late, um, bloom from the Lilac Time, and it is wonderful. May well be in my top 20.
That reminds me, I must check in with our currently absent Duffy correspondent, Mr P Wad.
Do report back and wish him well.
It is wonderful isn’t it? Not listened to anything else but the Lilac Time for a week now!
Glad to read this. Looking for a Day in the Night is probably the album I’ve missed most since dumping all my CDs for streaming. Well, that and the entire Neil Young catalogue.
I mean it’s an embarrassment of riches, isn’t it. These songs picked themselves, yet I bet you lot could recommend at least another 30.
