Not a fan, but isn’t it nice to see them top of the Premier League this far into the season? Or any club outside of the big 3/4/6. You might even think it was a competitive league.

Yep, hope it continues.
The Premier League is the least competitive league until you get to level 7/8/9 or, if you like, Lands End and John O’Groats.
Congratulations to Arsenal for finishing third…..erm, no, not last season……this season…….and next season, and the next season, and the next season……

Hats off to Ranieri, great to see.
Hats off also to Liverpool – that was some performance.
It’s a properly competitive league this season, very much enjoying it so far.
On a related note, Barcelona are absolutely terrifying. Their forward line is comprised of the three best players on the planet. Not sure I’ve seen that before.

When I was a lad of about 7 or 8, I really liked Leicester City. Mainly because I loved blue. So, I liked their kit. Blue with a sort of stripy white and blue cuff and collar. They lost to Man City in the 69 Cup final.
So always had a soft spot for the Foxes Ranieri is a decent man too. I was a doubter when he was appointed. Good to see this current success.

Sod Leicester. what about Coventry being top of the First Division, or whatever it’s called? First time we’ve been top of any division since 1962 or so..
Oh yes, congrats Leicester. Quite well done..

A mediocre team with an unfancied manager suddenly find themselves in title contention thanks to the prolific form of a striker who was earlier involved in a racism scandal.
Enjoy it Leicester, but I’ve already seen the ending.

What was Lineker like on MOTD? I assume he covered this…

I dont think anyone thinks they with actually win the PL, apart from maybe Gary Lineker. Till today I thougt it would be Man City. Now Not so sure

I always felt that Mourinho’s first Chelsea team was actually Ranieri’s, They should have won the Champions League the season before when Porto nicked it. He was very harshly treated it would be wonderful to see them somehow hang on to 4th while Chelsea finish 5th. As an aside Mourinho has never built a team after Porto, he’s like a managerial cuckoo

All too previous I think.
Norwich City are about to start their traditional mid season run of 10 games unbeaten and come the end of February will be Champions League contenders.
