The extras for these have been a mixed bag so far with many rough mixes sounding almost identical to the released takes to everyone but black dogs
However this last batch look more interesting if true

Is there a release date on these as yet? Couldn’t see one on the Tax Dodgers
Presence is my favourite LZ album by a mile. Really looking forward to this one.
Re-issue programme has been a tad underwhelming so far. The companion disc to IV was a joke and the others not much better – though was nice to hear the Paris show on I cleaned up nicely.
I believe they are due out on the 31st July.
as has been mentioned above, so far the series has been pretty underwhelming. Agree with the esteemed Mr Blast that Coda looks the pick of the bunch, but would have liked more of the Bombay sessions to be included rather than just the two songs.
Again though, it very much depends on the differences between the rough mixes and the final versions – and the track record so far doesn’t bode particularly well.

Coda is the least played LedZep album I own.
If I’m honest, I really only bought it to stop the head-pain of not having all the albums.
Might be getting this one though, and actually play it.
Although, being a tight arse, I may wait until they’re all available at lower prices and shell out for the lot in one go (no doubt there will be some overpriced box, complete with unnecessary trinkets (keyring? LZ plectrum) at a silly price)
Being a very, very late convert to the Zep I have truly enjoyed these remasters, they are much better than previous issues. Ordered these 3 with companion LPs from tax dodgers France, best price up to now.
I just pre-ordered the single disc vinyl version of Presence, but decided to go for the full-on 3 disc version of Coda. I’m not bothering with ITTOD because I don’t think its a very good album…
from Coda
Had to smile this weekend on reading an article that referred to the unreleased LZ3 era instrumental outtake ‘St Tristan’s Sword’ as ‘St Trinian’s Sword’!
The Led Zep narrative has quite enough schoolgirls in it already.
Re: ‘St Trinian’s Sword’
Yes, that’s right. Zeppelin’s original choice for the female vocal chores on “The Battle of Evermore” was Joyce Grenfell, but when she couldn’t make it, they brought in Sandy Denny instead.
‘Jimmy? Don’t do that’.
spot the difference
Not too sure about this
Yeah you can see why they didn’t stick with that version but its an interesting alternate view
Yes and at least it is an actual different interpretation of the song, rather than the ‘rough mixes’ of which Mr Page seems so fond.
