Merde! Just saw this. Putain! Timer set.

I saw a quick trail for it earlier today but otherwise nothing. No spoilers but it was every bit as good as the other series.

Cracking start. I will say no more.

Thanks, I didn’t know it was on. That’s this evening sorted.
Series 8 has been commissioned!
Guardian Spiral blog (and comments) is worth a look.

Recorded. I love this show – been checking the TV guide since mid-August waiting for it to start!

Stunning start to the series. Dear God, they’re all in a mess, aren’t they? I miss Tin Tin but that apart, superb.

Flicked through the channels last night and found I’d missed most of it. Didn’t know it was on.
iPlayer for me now.

How does one start on Spiral? Is series 1 available on any streaming services?
13/10/2019 at 18:17
It’s on Amazon but you’ll have to buy it. I bought the DVDs of series one to five when I got hooked. Not terribly expensive IIRC.

I’m not aware of it.
A search of your local charity shops for it on DVD could turn up trumps. I have seen various series appearing from time to time, but that’s rather haphazard.
I think there is a box set of Series 1-4.
13/10/2019 at 18:24
Yes, I have that then series 5 as separate DVDs.
13/10/2019 at 18:54
I may have to break my rule and buy the series.
13/10/2019 at 18:59
Series 6 is still on Iplayer if you can download it with something like Get Iplayer.
13/10/2019 at 18:55
It was on Netflix. But I bought the DVDs for not much and it’s well worth seeing all of it in order.
It’s worth the investment I’d say – you can start on this series fine but it’ll definitely help to have the characters’ backstory

Will start at the beginning but download 6 and 7 to the sky box. Ta chaps.

You won’t regret it.
There have been many fine Scandi-noir dramas and thrillers from other nations, but Spiral remains my favourite.
There is an episode in the latter part of series 2 that I rate as the most heart-stopping, tension riven TV Programmes I have ever seen.

Just saying everything is there at your local Eel Market.
We were rather late to Spiral and whizzed through the series like teenagers having their first taste of speed. Halfway through we talked to some friends about our addiction and one of them said “Wasn’t it so shocking when ******* died?” Cue several minutes of stunned silence. “****** is dead?”

I think I know which character you’re referring to.
Definitely not something you could see coming.
A bit of a p****r to know it’s coming.

God i remember that. Shocking indeed.
