Worth 81 minutes of any music-lover’s time. In my opinion.
A strange, very intense and incredibly driven individual, absolutely crammed full of talent.
Loads of good intelligent interview footage with Jarrett himself and his musical collaborators, plus plenty of performance footage.
Best music documentary I’ve seen in ages.

The link doesn’t appear to be “live” in the O.P.
Here it is again. Hopefully those of you outside of the iPlayer’s free access area can find an alternative way in.

I am one of those excluded outsiders.
Is this the one @Mike_H ?

Looks like the same footage arranged in a different order.
Possibly with some extra material, as it looks to be longer than the BBC version. Maybe the iPlayer version was edited for broadcast.
Might be what they did with the Scott walker film 30 Century Man. Ironically, considering some of the content, it was butchered.
I agree. Great to see the rehearsals with Charlie Haden, Jack DeJohnette, Jan Garbarek and so on as well as footage from his early career. I remember a South Bank Show from the early 80s that introduced me to his “My Song” album. I took it from there, buying just about every album he released throughout the 80s and into the 90s.
This particular documentary also gave an insight into what a spiky and difficult character he can be. A must-watch.
Jack DeJohnette? I’m in.
This is interesting and, of course, sad. KJ talking about his strokes and their effect.

“My song” was my way in too, and “Country” remains one of my all time top 10 tracks. I’ll check this out – looks great.
I watched this last night – highly recommended. He’s an interesting character…
