Here’s Ronno with Ian Hunter’s band performing “Slaughter On 10th Avenue”
Fascinating stuff. Decisive period in my life. The final Ziggy tour was the third time I saw Bowie & the Spiders play live. I must dig out the promo flexi disc I have for the album Slaughter on 10th Avenue. Features an interview with Mick and his reet broad Ull accent.
The only memorable part of Bob Dylan’s 29-hour docuturkey Renaldo and Clara was the all-too-brief sequence of Mick Ronson repeatedly saying “off yow pop”.
(I’m not stressing anything there by yowzing italics, by the way. I just forgot to claws me tags.)
You guys, honestly! Your attempts at approximating the ‘ull accent are just a nerr-nerr.
