Ah, that is exquisite. Magnificent. So economical, so eloquent, so understated and so, so powerful. I have loved Boz for years, and his albums have seen me through times of long journeys away from home each week for work, and the long trek home again for all too short a weekend. I can recall with precision the Friday I got my copy of Dig, and how I had to stop at the side of the road somwhere cross-country, high up on Cranborne Chase, to clear my tears after the fourth track.
Said it before and I’ll say it again. The Coolest Man On The Planet.
Agreed. And great to see you here @steerpike!
Thank you Twang
Why didn’t his album “Out of the Blues” figure in the AW poll of 2018 best album ?
It was one of my favourite albums of last year.
It did in mine!
Love/hate with the Boz. Very early blues good, middle disco not, late blues terrific, topped by last years album.
