Hugs, Peter. Hope Donna is feeling better soon and you can get some sleep. Keep us updated. xxx
Hugs Pete. Take care.
Slightly awkward manhug coming your way. Hope the afternoon (and the rest of the week, month, year…) lifts a bit for you
Love to you and Donna. Hope the rest of the day looks up.
As I rise each morning I look at your painting on the wall and think “that’s cool”. Another awkward man-hug coming your way.
Confident manhug. 🙂
Please don’t fart at the same time, the Squeezers are suffering as it is.
Peter, thoughts to you and Donna
Big hug and gentle one to Donna as she is no doubt feeling very delicate. A and E’s are awful places at best of times let alone at night.
Group huggle and crafty grope. Promise not to squeeze your pencil too tight.
Take care Pencil – hope the day goes OK
Thank you one and all.
I got home just before five this morning.
They have admitted her with a suspected gallstones problem which makes a change from her on going intractable health issues. At least they can fix this for her.
Donna is someone who is used to dealing with quite considerable pain everyday. Seeing the degree of discomfort Donna was in last night shortly before I phoned for an ambulance was sobering.
All the good folk we saw last night were truly wonderful as they always are and I can confirm that our marvellous NHS works 24/7 and incredibly well all things considered. As a nation we should be extremely grateful for the dedication of our health professionals.
I for one thank the heavens for each and everyone of them.
I’ll pass on your good wishes to Donna when I see her later today.
Thank you all once again. X
Poor Donna. I hope she’s better soon. Love to you both P xxx
Best wishes Peter. Seeing a loved one in pain is really tough.
Bringing back memories of 2013/14 and seeing too much of St Richards Chichester A & E, about 20 times we reckon. And like you the staff were stunning, nothing was too much trouble.
Take care and hope there are better days ahead.
Lots of love to you Mr Pencil & your wife ?
Wishing Donna all the best I’m sure it will be dealt with shortly.
Xx
Gallstones are seriously fucking painful. Mind you, get pethedine if you’re lucky. I understand people get addicted to that stuff.
Sorry to hear the bad news PS. Hope the missus feels better soon.
Hugs to you both P
Lots of love to both you and Donna, Peter. Take care of yourself as much as you take care of Donna. X
Ouch! Big hugs to Donna and yourself.
Oh, the poor dear. Hugs to you both.
Those of you scallywags who use Facebook already know this so this is for those amongst you who give a damn and don’t inhabit FB.
I’ve pondered whether to post an update on here on and off amongst the myriad of other thoughts that have flitted across my mind these past forty eight hours or so.
Donna has cancer.
It showed up in the tests the docs gave her last week.
We don’t know much at the moment other than they believe the cancer that has shown up in her liver is probably seconday. The medical team at the Countess are meeting tomorrow to discuss Donna’s situation. They will phone us to arrange for her to go back to the hospital for further tests to discover the extent of the cancer and ascertain the site of the origination of the problem. After that they will advise on a course of action.
Donna is at home with me now. Sitting on the sofa with a new and impossible plan of listening to the world’s entire musical output before the guy with a scythe shows up.
That’s my girl.
Defiant and ballsy.
Tell Donna she’s not going anywhere until she has listened to the full Stackridge recorded output. That should have her enjoying life into the next century. Love ya both.
So sorry to hear that, Peter. All love to Donna – but I’m sure she’s got plenty of fight in her. The tall skinny bloke with the old fashioned taste in farming implements can do one.
Wishing the both of you all the luck in the world.
Best wishes to you both – keep on fighting.
Much love. xxx
