July Wordle

Black Celebration has set his alarm for one minute past midnight on the 1st July. Mike and Junior will be waking up a few hours later, mashie niblicks oiled and balls sparkling white. Everyone else, try and get some rest. The Big Day approaches.

In my role as Official Scorer, I should mention a couple of Rule Changes:
Anybody who scores more than one eagle per round is instantly disqualified
Leedsboy must start every hole with ZAKAH

Apart from that, best of luck and may the best player win (as long as it’s me)

  3. I protest.

    I got two eagles in the last round. In the opening nine I scored 28, on the return I scored 38.
    Needless to say the two eagles came in the opening nine. I regarded that as a major stroke of luck, that then deserted me.
    Under the new rule I would have been prohibited from participating any further simply because of a fluke.

  5. Electing to play after midnight was clearly a mistake though I expect daylight would have assisted little.

  118. Apparently, the average score on Wordle is 3.97 which makes a lot of sense. Currently Pyramid and Badartdog are making no sense whatsoever….
