It’s sad to hear that she’s gone – overlooked by many over the years, and overshadowed in passing by the shenanigans engulfing the world. I only have her Clotho’s Web album – the material she recorded with Mickie Most – and mostly it’s original material of a high quality. I will have to look out for some of her later material, which I believe to be at least as good.
My folks had an album of hers which had a version of ‘Where have All in Flowers Gone’ in German, which I quite liked. Perhaps for that reason I found myself going to see her set at Glastonbury in 1987. An engaging performer.
I’m not sure how to do do a Spotify link on here but I hope this works.
This is the best thing I’ve heard in ages. Julie Felix produced by the great Mickey Most.
Musicians include Big Jim Sullivan, Cozy Powell, Danny Thompson, Davey Johnstone, Dougie Wright, John “Rabbit” Bundrick, John Fiddy, John Paul Jones, Stephan Grossmann.

Under the current lockdown, is she allowed to leave the building?
Turns out it was a friend of mine who encouraged her to come to London. Jim McLean was busking round Europe in 61/62 when he met Julie in Germany.
Another friend made a good point. She was very encouraging to “contemporary” music on her TV show. And in general.
I’m going to do a radio show by way of tribute.
