   Here’s Gary’s rather impressive contribution to Light Entertainment (below). Incidentally, while I know there are some (!) here who aren’t wild about his fusion keyboarding, I strongly recommend his solo piano album ‘A Meeting of Spirits’, an intriguing set of interpretations from the McLaughlin songbook – it was released a few years back but is being reissued in a new sleeve this month or next month.

   This looks good, especially since they are playing things like Meeting of the Spirits and Miles Beyond, properly, not like Lenny White and those other clowns at Chick Corea’s Blue Note shows
