Late September. Interesting how the comments note JMcL being mixed down and how JB always seems to try to hog things no matter who is onstage.
Still, not bad though.

“We’re going to play tribute to the man himself now, the real, best-ever JB.”
That had me baffled.
Joe Brown? Jimmy Buffet? John Barry? James Brown? Javier Bardem? Joan Baez? Johan (Sebastian) Bach?
James Bond, shirley?
Jack Benny, shurely?
Jim Bowen ?
Josephine Baker or Jacques Brel shertainly
Not sure the great man was being deliberately mixed down – the sound for both was quite variable as they moved around the stage. Also noted that JMcL kept fiddling with his amp – unhappy with his “on-stage” sound, maybe?
Also not sure why Bonamassa is hated so much in the guitar community – unless the size of his collection makes them all jealous…
Meh. They are both fine players but I’ll stay with JB. His ability to do the unexpected and introduce changes in tone and nuance is key to a simple tune like this. Plus, Tal!
A bit churlish, @Twang – after all, they wouldn’t have been playing it at all if it hadn’t been a tribute to Jeff Beck…
…that being said: you’re right, of course!
Churlish! Moi!
