To alert fellow Jimmy Webb fans, tonight (Monday) the Radio 4 series Mastertapes at 11pm features Jimmy being interviewed on his career and recordings. There is a second episode tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3.30pm where he answers a live audience’s questions.

David Gray was on last week’s discussing White Ladder, which I’m sure a few of us have on the shelf. I bought mine out of his suitcase at Dingwalls, after his support to Maria McKee.

Thanks Carolina. I wasn’t aware of this podcast until recently – I can recommend the Randy Newman one. I was lucky enough to see David Hepworth interview Jimmy Webb recently in a branch of Waterstones – it was a bit special to be in the same room hearing hear him recounting his story of pitching songs to Sinatra.
