Nice piece. Didn’t know a lot of that. JC says he’s staying alive to vote against Trump. I wonder where they’ll find the next figure to restore honesty and integrity to U.S. politics..?
Best ex-POTUS ever
My first memory of Robin Williams is playing his alien character Mork in Happy Days. As you can no doubt tell, Happy Days crow-barring an Alien into Happy Days tells us that the show was on its last legs.
Anyway, Richie Cunningham is thrilled that Mork is living in the future and asks about the president. Mork replied – “Do you like peanuts?…then you’ll like Jimmy!”.
The “peanut farmer” thing was used by those wanting to belittle him, but it’s worth remembering that, in 2000AD at least, his face was carved into the side of Mount Rushmore

The documentary referred to in the article is a fascinating watch. He had all sorts round to the White House for parties.
