This is coming up on that You Tube on the 23rd of this month. It may be of some passing interest for the resident hep cats.
The You Tube channel in question is apart from this upcoming showcase of fresh new jazz well worth perusing. Some stunning music for people with functioning ears and minds.

Looks brilliant! I’ll put the date in my diary. Cheers 👍👍
Cheers Mr @pencilsqueezer shall have a peruse.
All new names for me. It all looks very promising. Dioch Yn fahr.
Ms Maurice is yet another of the rather prolific Sheila Maurice-Grey’s projects. This time singing as well as playing trumpet, I think.
Steam Down is normally an event as much as a band. A rhythm section and whichever soloists and vocalists happen to be around, doing stuff pretty spontaneously.
Binker Golding is one of the star tenor saxophonoists of the current London scene. Also a teacher, big-band arranger and conductor. Quite nifty on piano too.
Less familiar with the other named artists. Was going to go see Golden Mean do a free daytime show in the West End but the lockdown put paid.
This was on Wednesday:
Not a current clip but one I’d not seen before from the London scene.
Maisha – Kaa and Osiris
Thanks for posting this, Mr Eyeballpleaser- I was oblivious.
Just from the couple of posts below your OP, there’s a real wealth of edifying stuff to explore.
Champion!
British jazz is having a bit of a moment. Lots of fresh young talent making exceptionally appealing music. It’s a fabulous melange of cultures mixing and merging in myriads of fascinating ways. Nearly every week I’m hearing something new and that’s most encouraging especially during such trying times.
Ooh that looks good. Thanks!
And another one.

Grand. Moses Boyd and Kokoroko. I can dig that.
Fine work from The Squeeze Man.
marvellous! it’s great that the presidents of bohemia yourself share the wisdom – I will look forward to this!
Listening right now to the Jazz:Refreshed stream from the OP.
