That’s sad to hear, even if I did spend more time gazing wistfully at pictures of her than playing her music.

Oh man, was only watching the film of Melody Nelson the other day ( not great but of its time with,it has to be said, typical early 70’s dancing from Jane)
Muse/collaborator with the rascal Serge G and if you have not heard Historie de Melody Nelson then put that right ASAP, it’s a classic.

I liked what I heard of her music but I just loved her. So cool and beautiful and free. And when I worked in France I discovered they all did too. A complete original.
