I’ve got a killer idea for a band but I’m not sure if I can dig deep enough at the age of Fifty to pull it off.

Okay let me see if I can convey this idea accurately.
There are literally thousands of incredible songs that nobody hears or knows about anymore. I want to put together a group of musicians and singers to bring them back to life. The library is endless really. The whole venture is to be called ‘Deep Cuts’.
Hmmm, nobody’s re-released ‘The Birdy Song’ or ‘They’re Coming To Take Me Away, Ha Ha’ in ages, so that’s two to go for….or are deep cut hits not allowed?

I think Bri has a point. There was a huge in-line kerfuffle recently when people discovered “Torn” by Natalie Imbruglia was a cover. There are thousands of great songs that weren’t hits or are not know by the music buying public. Songs we all take for granted as great, for me let’s say “If I Ever Loved You” by Justin Currie are virtually unknown, we all have loads. I suspect if Ed Sheeran released a cover of it no-one would suspect it wasn’t his for a second. Go for it Bri
