As can be seen from my nom-de-blog Vivian was a major part of my life (still is come to that). Sir Henry was a marvellous comic creation. Down in Muswell Hill at the weekend, shall give a salute to his flat.
In September 1937 I bought my wife a new electric iron for eight and sixpence. She is still using it everyday and it’s never needed repair.
