Iron Maiden are rather wonderful in their shameless pantomime. They are more rock than metal, and utterly British in their blend of stoicism, humour, competency, and awareness of their absurdity. I’ve enjoyed the gigs I’ve seen, and the audience have been a lovely bunch. They all deserve knighthoods. ( The band, not the audience.)
Rather a sanitised official version of their history- don’t expect to hear from any critics or discover any revelations. Entertaining nonetheless.
What is it? Film?
