After a busy last-week-of-January featuring Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart followed by The Rezillos/Spizzenergi/The Tuts followed by Emily Barker/Sylvie Lewis/Michele Stodart/Romeo Stodart & Ren Harvieu/Adem, my February is looking a bit quieter with just 3 Daylight Music Saturday afternoons and a couple of Sunday evening Chandos Arms jazz gigs.
In March I have another Daylight Music afternoon followed by an evening at The Barbican on the 4th with This Is Not This Heat, followed by Liane Carroll on the evening of the 5th. Then just 2 more Daylight Music Saturdays until Manuel Göttsching/Ashra Tempel Experience on the 22nd at The Barbican and the Sun Ra Arkestra at the Union Chapel on the 31st.
In February I have Band Of Horses and Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard. Wanted to see Julian Cope, but it sold out too quickly for me. I was toying with Cloud Nothings as well (really liked the album before the last one, didn’t go much on the last one, haven’t heard the new one). Is it the Thekla?
