I was dreading the video after reading stuff on the Hoffman forum, but I actually really liked it and even found it a little moving. They’ve used that riff before, but I really like the song.
That’s my problem with it: the riff may as well be an AI pastiche of post-Exile Stones. Once Keith learned his two finger Open G tuning trick he very quickly settled into ‘the riff’ and has recycled it endlessly.
You want the Stones to be The Stones … and that is what they are
And there’s that bit in your head which sees them in 1972, and it looks like it here – I’m detecting a little AI assistance perhaps.
Stonestastic track …
How many drummers do you need to replace one Charlie?
Well, it’s either this (which is ridiculously weirdly great) or watch three minutes of 2026 Mick grimacing at the camera while Keith and Ronnie stroll back and forth with their guitars.
Rifftastic. How do they do that? They’re all ancient old bastards. I like it too.
It’s excellent indeed…

“A little bit of AI”??
Bless ’em….

Which is still great!
Is there a Lori Maddox look a likey dancing in front of them in the vid , or am I over thinking
