Remember when, two years ago, I directed you to all my Britpop-era interviews with everyone from Oasis to that little bloke from Credit to the Nation? Well, I’ve only gone and brought it up to date, complete with footnotes that hopefully shed a little light on some of my choices. You’ll notice here, as I move from Total Sport. to NME to Time Out and finally the Guardian, that the articles get smaller and more sporadic, but also in my opinion quite a bit better. So, if you fancy reading what Paul Heaton thinks of Terry Venables, a lot of snarky singles reviews, an interview with a very NSFW Elvis impersonator, and a man who races terriers – fill your boots.

I’m back to work on Tuesday, so I’ll have a read then.
I’m loving your Bad Live Albums work.
Thank you. I wish there was space for some more. I actually quite like the Iggy Pop ones.
When were you at Stirling Uni?
I was there 1998-2001, although I know that you weren’t asking me.
Was at Stirling 1989-1993. Heady days: the Shamen bankrupting the student union, the Orb elected as honorary president, Van Morrison randomly walking round the campus one afternoon.
I need to pick your brain, Pawsforthought, about what it was like in your “time”. Were the Long Bar and Disco Bar still intact? I heard Maisie’s had become a real ale bar. And did the Gannochy still host rathr cheesy discos?
