I could have sworn I’d seen this on here before, but a search returns nothing. So, in case you missed it in April, here’s the 55-minute BBC Radio Scotland documentary on the least-prolific of Edinburgh acts.

Ooh lovely. Thanks for that. I was unaware. ๐
“Hats” is Immaculate
Edinburgh? Glasgow, surely?
(But cheers for the link!)
You know when you’re typing and thinking of something else? I was thinking of my wife’s bridesmaid (who is from Edinburgh). A sort of virtual Spoonerism.
Fair enough. I won’t ask why you were thinking about your wife’s bridesmaid…
I will.

Out with it. You will feel better for it.
Why were you thinking of your wife’s bridesmaid?
The subconscious thought process was something like:
TBN = Scotland.
Scotland = Edinburgh.
Edinburgh = bridesmaid.
We usually stop with her en route to the Cairngorms, but didn’t this year as she’s in Sweden.
Ooo….thanks for this! The Blue Nile are a real favourite.
If you’ve never heard it, Paul Buchanan also sings beautifully on Sleep by Texas – superb track…!
Since reading the TBN book, I have more or less everything PB is on – Peter Garbriel’s ‘Downside Up’ with Liz Fraser is a particular fave.
Nice one will def give this a listen.
Thank you @fentonsteve – this would have surely passed me by. Now, where’s me pipe and slippers?
What I don’t get is why the BBC usually includes the news and the weather at the top of a distinct show…
