Can’t say where ‘cos I’m buying my wife’s prezzie. Anyway, they are playing the best Christmas playlist I’ve ever heard. All the hits, obvs, but also Kate Rusby (swoons), 70’s Jackson 5 and some Nat King Cole I don’t have. Best of all was an instrumental version of God Rest You Merry Gentlemen (Comfort and Joy) that I would swear had the sainted Jerry Douglas on Dobro. It Scherwiiiiings! Any other ‘off piste’ Christmas songs that you love?i

You’re buying your wife’s present in the pub? Hope she appreciates it!

No, @lando-cakes but, thanks. Good stuff.
Having had a trawl on the internet there is a Jerry Douglas CD called Jerry Christmas, which has a version of GRYMG on it, not available on YouTube however.
@hubert-rawlinson Thank you. Just done the same thing, and THAT’S the one. Downloaded.
Here it is:
I will be spitting sprouts to this one
Old Crow Medicine Show – Breaking Up Christmas
A lovely top-tapper from hit-makers Coil
They appear to have taken down all of the Eels’ “Everything’s Gonna Be Cool This Christmas” videos, which is a shame.

Off piste and odd.
Glad to have helped @niallb
The only Christmas record I can listen to 12 months a year: the Staple Singers’ ’25th Day of December’:
