The Stranglers were great – hardly put a foot wrong for best part of a decade. Although I go against conventional wisdom in thinking their second LP was better than the first?
I tend to listen to the stranglers as an entity rather than as an album by album Group. I dip in when and where needed.
‘The Raven’ is The Masterpiece though.
I’m in Bri, though it’s Black and White for me.
I so wanted to be JJ but could only afford a Westone Thunder 1 (not even the 1a!) and a farty 15 watt Laney amp so couldn’t quite recreate the Barracuda Bass sound.
