Wasn’t being flippant. They are obviously a big threat and yes I am worried because of the wider global implications if it kicks off. Hard to know whether the aircraft carrier group is there to stop another missile launch or to try and take out his bunkers. I don’t think there will be a pre-emptive strike but it is clear both sides are worried and you only have to have one false move. China has a big role to play here and I hope they can persuade Kim Jon um Bongo to come to the table.
My understanding is that Ca is in range…

Just noticed this. Yes, I’m fine. Damn. is fucking brilliant. Less jazz, more The Stylistics, Curtis Mayfield and Norman Whitfield’s psychedelic Temptations. Complex, engrossing, disturbing. Lights up my world. Easily album of the year so far (after only three listens). Does contain Bono but in a surprisingly modest way.
That U2 track is one of the early highlights for me. There’s an awful lot to digest on the record (and have you heard the rumours that there’s another one due TOMORROW?), but early doors I like it a lot.

Nah, I’ve looked at that and I think it’s one of the dodgy commercial releases of mixtapes that Plastic Head distribute. The label name and catalogue number don’t correspond with the official albums, and the artwork is from the TPAB booklet.

Level 7. What troubles me most is that I’m slightly more hopeful of the leaders of North Korea seeing sense than I am of Trump’s team acting rationally.

4 (FWIIW) of course, it is not about North Korea attacking the USA – almost certainly they dont (yet) have the missile capability.
Its about North Korea attacking an ally of the USA, (South Korea/Japan) where almost certainly they are capable of reaching.
Should that happen then IMHO, all bets are off.
