Worth a go I’d say. My wife has been to see them twice in mid size theater venues in Dublin the past two years. Has come back raving both times. Forget Van the Man (brilliant as he is), Liam Ó Maonlaí is the real Irish Soul singer of Ireland.
I used to see them a lot in Dublin when they started and again in my early days in London. I noticed a strange phenomenon that didn’t apply to any other band except G-Love and Special Sauce. They were great every second time I went to see them without fail. I can’t put my finger on why it didn’t work when it didn’t work but it didn’t. I know that doesn’t help but this thread reminded me of days gone by.
Saw them in Bath a few weeks ago. Very good. They were concentrating on the first two albums which meant that a couple of numbers became extended jams but my wife and son’s ex GF both really enjoyed them.

I haven’t seen them recently but if they were playing a pub gig near me you wouldn’t keep me away
They are a great live band I’ve seen them fully electric many times and also acoustic
I think you should change ‘sorta’ into sorted
I haven’t, since just ahead of covid, and they were then fabulous. But they are putting on much the same show and a reliable friend said they were superb, when he went, a month ago.

Thanks Gents
Go go go. They are very very good live.
Don’t Go, surely? 😉
