This is hard to believe news. After years of High Street contraction, two trips into administration and months of enforced closure HMV have announced plans to open 10 new stores, including a new flagship store in London. As the man from the Beeb says, it seems odd that they plan to expand the selling of goods that nobody wants any more in bricks and mortar locations that people don’t visit any more. I’m amazed they have survived the latest year of setbacks, but good luck to them. A brave and innovative move or sheer folly?
