Lovely delicate, sensual version. Not adjectives I’d usually use about Roger Chapman.
And as today is the summer solstice and our friend the sun is shining longest, a very apt choice of song.
Linda Lewis was married at the time to Family’s bass player, the ever excellent Jim Cregan…. a nice wee earner for the boss.
BTW, Jim Cregan played this song last December with Family in Glasgow.

The only time I saw Linda Lewis live was at Birmingham Town hall …… supporting Family.

I’m hoping to see Emily Loizeau perform in Parc de La Villette later in the day, if the rain holds off.

What’s not to like? Glad to see that the Institut Suedois are doing their bit and putting on this band.
Never heard of them. Gnucci? They look more like the Neil Young Pony Club to me.
I have a bit of work to do as well, KFD – visits to La Chapelle & Museé de La Musique, which is next to where Emily Loizeau will be performing – but I’m intending to see as much as I can. It’s a tough job, sometimes.
