Track 2 is The Band innit. Caledonia Mission. 3 is Traffic You Can All Join In. 4 is At This Moment by John Kongos. 5 is Crossroads by Clapton and the Powerhouse. 7 is a cover of the Stones’ Spider and the Fly, but I’m not sure whose it is. 8 is Renaissance’s Face of Yesterday.
It sounded Renaissancey – is it the LP version, do you think?
It’s not the album version I know – it’s missing the drums. I think they re-recorded it, but I can’t find any version that matches this one Colin.
Well, they recorded a John Peel Sunday Concert in March 1970 and a Sounds of the 70s in May 70 (both including Face of Yesterday). I think it’s the former, applause tightly cut off.
According to this site, the live show was broadcast on 5 April 1970, with Elton John on the same show:

Yes, that’s the one I meant…
9 is The Castle by Love. Oh and 1 is also Love. Laughing Stock.
Oh Fred in bed and ride ride ride…. is that the one?
yes it is.
Both of these are definitely the records.
What is this foolin’ around
Are we supposed to be like history?
We are normal and we dig Burt Weedon.
And, uh, here come some normals…
They look like normal… Hawaiians.
….I intend to be a freak for the rest of my life.
You’re going the right way about it. Just keep your half of the drainpipe clean and we’ll say no more about it.
I think you’d better check your rice pudding.
I shall baffle you with cabbages and rhinoceroses in the kitchen if you’re not careful
‘Scuse me sir, I’ve reason to believe you can turn me on..
Lightweight!
I intend to be reincarnated as two completely separate freaks.
So there!
Is this so you can wrestle poodles and win?
Let’s take a taxi to my tent..
Well it’s got to be better than a prefabricated concrete coal bunker.
Y’see the natives had it in their noddles that if a chap’s soul was pure, the snake bite wouldn’t harm him. Poor old Hargreaves died almost immediately, in horrible agony..”
Five weeks!? BLIMEY!
