  84. Thanks everybody. As a special treat, and in the absence of anything else to do, I’ve been looking back over AW Wordle history.

    We’d actually been Wordling on here for quite a while before SteveT said, why don’t we have a golf tournament instead of just randomly posting our scores? The golfing metaphor had been in full swing long before that – there was much talk of birdies and bogeys, stuck in the rough and clubs in the lake etc, but it took Steve to join the dots.

    Back then dinosaurs walked the earth – the Baron, Saucecraft, Moose (who never played, just dropped in from time to time when there was a double entendre going). There was much banter, flouncing, tears before bedtime etc. People came and went. Ou sont les diffugeres nieves d’antan?

    Anyhow, before I completely lose the thread (SWIDT?), here is a list of winners (apart from April & May 24, which I couldn’t find).
