One of my all time favourite guitarists. Back in the day when I first heard the solos on “Money” and “Time” off “Dark Side” I thought that is probably as good as it gets for atmospheric underground rock guitar…and listening now, little changes my mind.

Never “Dave”. Never, ever, ever “Dave”. He gets very upset about that, according to his missus.
His other claim to fame is that he shares his birthday with Bargepole !
Have a great day!
Happy birthday, Bargepole! Is it a big one?
They don’t call him Bargepole for nothing.
(many happy returns, Barge)
Have a great day Bargie.
Hippy Burpday Barge old bean.
Cheers one and all – raises a glass!
(actually both our birthdays were yesterday but hey….)
HB BP!!!!
So many AW pisceans. Funny that. Dreamers, eh? Problems with reality?
Never Dave, always Gilmour
Fabulous guitarist, always seems to play exactly what’s needed. His solos on ‘The Final Cut’ match Waters’ lyrics for vitriol & spite. ‘On An Island’ is a wonderful album, a perfect listen for a summer’s evening relax with a glass of something spiffing.
