So the podcast has been handed over to the tireless Admins and my work here is done. I’d like to thank everyone who took part, gave feedback that wasn’t abuse and listened. If someone else takes up the reins then all well n good and I wish them luck in cat herding.
The complete back catalogue so far is at libsyn link hereabouts including episodes with dear old James Blaaaaaast.
I’ve a lot to be grateful to The Word / Afterword sites for. I shall no doubt be doing other creative stuff elsewhere including podcasting – you know where to find me but until then just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Thanks DFB and we’ll be waiting for that elusive Music TV volume 3 whenever you’re ready again.

I really enjoyed the Rachel Talalay podcast about Heaven Sent. The accompanying item here as well as the interview itself was just amazing. Thank you.

I didn’t think the world needed a new music podcast when you first floated the idea. I was wrong. Good job.

Well said , Blue Boy!
I do hope. DFB; that you will make the occasional appearance here to point out to us that we are making an ginormous mistake, for example, to not go out and buy the latest Sparks album.
Good luck with your future ventures1

Cheers DFB. You’ve been an excellent Podhost/Cat herder – I always imagine you as some sort of laconic US talk show host behind a huge desk with cue cards in hard/NYC skyline to the rear, seemingly keeping the ball in the air while I ramble on about XTC or Get Fresh with Gaz Top and others try and chip in, – keeping us all in check and somehow..no matter what the topic…always shoehorning in a reference to the Secret Lemonade Drinker Hitmaker. There’s a legacy of excellent stuff there to enjoy, particularly enjoyed the stuff you did with Dr J, Steven C and co – and lest we forget the great Mark Ellen mega-ramble and having missed possibly the last ever Kate Bush and Monty Python shows it was great to get the inside track on those.
Wait…what’s happening….it’s changing….maybe the Watcher was DFB all along….

I greatly enjoyed my contribution, which must have taken an awful lot of editing out the umms, errs and pause-for-thoughts to make fit for public consumption.
You’ve done a good job, Dave, and you should look back on these with pride.
