They made Chuck Norris films and Superman 4 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. A very interesting company whose films dispensed with logic.
They made terrible movie but the story behind them should be fascinating.

Thanks for the reminder. I only saw Superman IV recently for first time besides even liking III and it’s just flipping awful
I’m looking forward to this. I dealt with some of the Go-Go boys protégées when I worked in LA. A more slippery bunch would be hard to imagine. And this was in the dubious world of the uncool indies, making mostly straight to video exploitation films. From a distance of 20 years it was hilarious and ridiculous. The business practices and characters were even more bizarre than the movies!
The Golan Shites.
@Rufus T Firefly I wonder whether we ever met? I was working for one of the film trades at that time and ads from those very straight to video indies were our bread and butter!
Hmm, wonder what happens if I put a space in there – @ Rufus T Firefly ?
@yorkio You need to replace the spaces with dashes i.e. @rufus-t-firefly
The auto-tagging facility was useful – it went with the recent WordPress update (at least from the browsers/OSs I use). Hopefully, it will return.
