Musings on the byways of popular culture
Wonderful! Thanks – have DMed you
And I’ve answered.
And very enjoyable it is too, I have been digging into their catalogue this afternoon. Thanks again P
Three invites left.
Can I be impertinent and ask – is it three months free and no obligation or is it sign up, give us cc details and then you can cancel at the end of the trial? (I only ask because I’ve signed up for such things in the past and being an absentminded old Hector, forgot all about cancelling thus triggering a proper subscription)
It’s two months free Lodes and you need to sign up with the onus being on the signatory to cancel before the end of the trial period. When I’ve signed for free offers on platforms I cancel immediately after signing. That way I don’t forget. I’ve always kept the free period regardless.
That’s why you is a more intelligent man than me …
Just one that’s more than a little obsessively tidy about certain things.
Only slightly annoyingly, my ~15-y-o Naim streamer only supports Tidal, as the FPGA inside doesn’t have enough capacity to do Qobuz as well.
That’s a pity. I like Tidal well enough but Qobuz is way better for my needs. They pay artists better, they won’t have any truck with AI and they are French not damned Yankees.
Yes. I let Tidal lapse after the free trial period. I do occasionally buy downloads, almost always from Qobuz.
Do you get a discount from Qobuz if you’re not subscribed Fents?
No, but I don’t buy enough to make it worthwhile.
Okey dokey. I thought that would be the case.
Two left.
