Ooh! Ta very muchly. Having a bleeping good time listening to these..
The Moby sleep one certainly did the trick – out like a light. Or maybe that was because I’m not used to drinking beer before bed on a school night.
That’s partly what they’re intended for, according to Moby.
“Quiet music for when I do yoga or sleep or meditate or panic”
“No drums, no vocals, just very slow, calm pretty chords”
Oh, that wasn’t any kind of complaint – that’s exactly why I was playing it in bed, set to switch off after 30 minutes (not that I got anything like that far).
I’m not convinced by the Moby. I like to sleep to music that doesn’t have drums/vocals, but it has to be music. Those tracks sound more like someone left the hairdryer on in the room next-door-but-one. I think I’ll stick to Sylvian, Budd and Eno.
lovely – thanks!
